Thielen was an undrafted free agent, who went to a small public university in Minnesota.
He signed with the Vikings in 2013 and has had a successful career with the team.
Thielen is a two-time Pro Bowler and was on the All-Pro second team in 2017.
While Thielen doesn’t often get nationwide recognition, he is well-liked within the organization, and many Vikings fans love his underdog story.
In his 135 games with the Vikings, Thielen has 6,682 receiving yards, 534 receptions, and 71 touchdowns.
In the last three seasons, however, Thielen has been overshadowed by Justin Jefferson, who is stated to be a star in the NFL for the foreseeable future.
Thielen is 32 years old.
His time in the NFL is coming to an end, but he will always be remembered in Vikings history.
Thielen is the prime example that, if a player works hard and follows their dreams, he can find success in the NFL.
This gives hope to young NFL fans everywhere, demonstrating that, even though you just play for a small collegiate team, there is still a chance that you can make it to the league.
