It’s no secret that Yadier Molina has had nothing short of a legendary career.
The future Hall-of-Fame catcher played all 19 seasons of his career with the St. Louis Cardinals and became a fixture in the City of St. Louis.
He had a knack for coming up big in key spots, with his most famous moment being Game 7 of the 2006 NLCS, when he took New York Mets pitcher Aaron Heilman deep to put St. Louis ahead to stay.
He and longtime batterymate Adam Wainwright shared plenty of moments together as well.
MLB Network tweeted a compilation video of Molina’s career highlights, paying tribute to perhaps the best catcher of this generation.

A Recap Of Yadi’s Career
It’s hard to believe it’s already over, but Molina has been around since 2004.
He’s been a part of four World Series teams, won two rings, nine Gold Glove Awards, and four Platinum Glove Awards during his storied career.
There’s no doubt that his career was a storied one.
But he and Wainwright were the constants on every great Cardinals team.
There’s something to be said for somebody who has been around for that long, played with so many great players, and had so many great moments.
And Molina did it all with one team.
His accomplishments will never be forgotten in St. Louis.
Cardinals fans will cherish all of the memories they got to share with Molina behind the plate forever.
It’s hard to imagine Cardinals baseball without Molina, but he left a lasting impact and fans will never forget him.
