The Miami Dolphins paid a steep price to acquire All-Pro wide receiver Tyreek Hill.
They got “Cheetah” in exchange for a 2022 first-round pick, a 2022 second-round pick, two fourth-round picks, and a 2023 sixth-round selection.
Aside from the trade, they also made him the highest-paid wideout via a four-year, $120 million contract.
With that kind of a deal in place, much is expected from him.
If possible, the Dolphins would be satisfied if he will surpass his 2021 numbers of 1,239 yards and nine touchdowns.
But in a recent practice session, he seems to be starting on the right note, as shared by NFL insider Dov Kleiman.

Kleiman tweeted, “#Dolphins WR1 Tyreek Hill against #Eagles CB1 Darius Slay. Slay got hurt at the end of this play.”
It was a simple route by Hill as he got a free release from Slay.
After which, they were off to the races and Hill won’t lose the speed game.
He caught the ball against a cornerback who once led the league in interceptions.
Slay is also a four-time Pro Bowler and a 2017 First-Team All-Pro.
He is also coming off a season wherein he had 40 solo tackles, nine passes defended, three interceptions, and two touchdowns from fumble recoveries.
More Defensive Backs To Beat For Hill
Unfortunately, Slay and Hill won’t face each other in the regular season.
However, Hill will have plenty of challengers to defeat, starting with the Baltimore Ravens’ Marlon Humphrey.
Meanwhile, the Buffalo Bills also have talented defensive backs like Tre’Davious White, Dane Jackson, Micah Hyde, and Jordan Poyer.
Also on the Dolphins’ schedule are the Pittsburgh Steelers and safety Minkah Fitzpatrick.
The Cleveland Browns will also throw Denzel Ward at him while the Los Angeles Chargers have J.C. Jackson and Derwin James.
