There has been a lot of talk about Chet Holmgren of the Oklahoma City Thunder ever since he was selected second in last month’s NBA Draft.
Fans have been asking if he is the next Kevin Durant or Giannis Antetokounmpo?
But with all of the buzz he’s generated, he’s also created a few troubling questions.

But when you watch Holmgren in action, it’s hard to not buy into the excitement 100%.
Taking a look at him move in slow motion to the bucket is really like looking at a work of art.
Through tough defense and even a smack in the face, Holmgren moves through traffic, finds the basket, and makes his bucket.
Holmgren is giving more and more reason to believe he’s the real deal.
Skinny But Strong
There have been quite a few people to remark on the look and build of Holmgren.
Some fans have thought that he’s just too skinny and slight to really have an impact on the floor.
Can you imagine someone built like Holmgren trying to go toe to toe with, say, Zion Williamson or any number of other NBA stars?
Yet, footage like the clip posted above shows that Holmgren is actually quite strong and able of taking the wear and tear of an NBA game.
He might be sore after it’s over but this kid has drive to stick with it even when he’s getting roughed up.
The fact that he was able to still score points even with all the rough play speaks to his abilities even more.
He wasn’t just going for the foul, he was actually going for the basket.
