There might not be anything on the face of the Earth that is as pretty as Juan Soto‘s swing.
The San Diego Padres acquired him from the Washington Nationals at the trade deadline along with Josh Bell, and he’s been kicking it into gear as of late.
Yesterday, he picked up a hit off of Philadelphia Phillies ace Aaron Nola in Game 2 of the NLCS, putting his beautiful swing on display yet again.
Everybody at this point knows about the “Soto shuffles,” but it’s his swing that catches a lot of people’s eyes.
The tweet below shows you everything you need to know about Soto’s swing.

Soto’s Swing
There may not be anything like it in baseball.
Soto takes a smooth, relaxed cut and is able to hit the ball to all fields with authority.
The hit shown in the tweet is just another example of how smart, consistent, and professional he is at the plate.
He’s also incredibly patient and relaxed when he swings the bat.
This swing here is right on point.
The way he stays relaxed and waits for his pitch is what sets him apart from some of the best hitters in the business.
His swing is smooth, he has soft hands, and is able to put the bat right on the ball when he gets his pitch.
He hit .242 during the regular season, but managed to hit 27 home runs and drive in 62 while posting an OPS of .853 in 524 at-bats.
And he was locked in during this at-bat against Nola.
There are many stars with some good swings, but that of Soto might just be the best of any player in all of baseball.
