Atlanta Braves star Ronald Acuna Jr. had his season cut short in 2021 due to a torn ACL.
Despite the injury to Acuna, the Braves managed to get hot at the right time and take the NL East crown before dominating throughout the postseason to capture their first World Series title since 1995.
But Acuna is ready to come back stronger in 2022 and reclaim his place as one of the top outfielders in all of baseball.
ESPN’s Marly Rivera stopped by Braves’ camp today and took a video of him taking batting practice.
Acuna is set to go on a rehab assignment in April and make his return in early May.

Welcoming Back A Friendly Face
Acuna’s return will certainly be a boon for the defending champion Braves, who look strong heading into 2022 and ready to defend that title.
He’ll certainly be welcomed back to that lineup like a hero.
The Braves lineup already includes Matt Olson, Ozzie Albies, Dansby Swanson, Marcell Ozuna, and Austin Riley.
When Acuna returns, the bats will be booming again, and the Braves will be a real threat to repeat as World Series champions.
But it’s good to see him getting closer to a return.
Acuna is one of the best young players in all of baseball and is exciting to watch.
It’s a shame we weren’t able to see him on the big stage of the World Series last year, but you can bet he’s motivated to make an impact for Atlanta this year.
We’ll see how he does after fully recovering from the ACL injury.
As of now, he looks like he’s in pretty solid shape, and it’s only a matter of time before we see him raking again.
