Cleveland Guardians rookie sensation Steven Kwan‘s career is off to an unprecedentedly hot start.
Though he has struggled in the past few games, he still is hitting .385 with an OPS of 1.079, adding further proof to the claim that baseball is the only sport you can fail seven out of ten times and still be good at.
He was on an impressive streak of seeing pitches without swinging and missing.
That streak unfortunately came to an abrupt end and a tweet below from Codify, a baseball analytics Twitter page, shows a video of that actually happening.
Granted, it’s incredibly rare for him to swing and miss.
The only time Steven Kwan has swung the bat at a pitch this year and not made at least some contact with the ball… 😮

Is This Video Real?
Is this even real?
Who knew Kwan was capable of swinging and missing?
It’s such a rare sight that it’s hard to believe your own eyes when you actually see it.
But perhaps the hype surrounding Kwan is dissipating a little since his streak has come to an end.
Still, it’s something that we’re not accustomed to seeing.
Kwan was so locked in that getting him out was almost impossible while he was hot.
But can we be sure the video is real?
This man could not strike out or even swing and miss for some time.
If he could go on such a streak, then the possibilities are endless for this guy.
Swinging and missing is so rare for him that he could easily go on another hot streak and have the baseball world singing his praises again.
We’ll see if he can start another streak of not swinging and missing.
Always expect the unexpected in baseball.
You never know what’s going to come next.
