The Philadelphia Phillies have reached the World Series for the first time since 2009.
With a 4-3 win over the San Diego Padres in Game 5 of the NLCS on Sunday, the Phillies continued their improbable run.
Philadelphia had won just 87 games during the regular season and reached the postseason as the third National League Wild Card team.
But they took care of the St. Louis Cardinals in the Wild Card Series, unseated the Atlanta Braves as defending World Series champs in the NLDS, and dominated the Padres in the NLCS.
MLB tweeted a video of the final out from the perspective of the Phillies dugout, which shows Phillies fans all rejoicing at once.

The World Series is finally here.
The Phillies have overcome incredible odds to get to this point, having defeated three of the top five teams in the National League.
But now, the City of Brotherly Love can rejoice and celebrate what many thought wouldn’t be possible.
The video here captures the moment where all of Citizens Bank Park erupted in joy and celebration.
The crowd went crazy and celebrated the achievement of this Phillies team.
Back in September, the Phils were having a tough time holding off the Milwaukee Brewers in the Wild Card race.
But they stayed in command and ultimately locked up the third spot before going on an incredible run to reach the World Series.
Philadelphia fans are no strangers to some big celebrations, but it’s been a while for the Phillies, who hadn’t reached the postseason since 2011.
The Phillies are World Series bound and are prepared to take on a dangerous Houston Astros ballclub.
