Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes amazes fans every week.
Whether it is his ability to move the ball a long distance in a very short amount of time, or his ability to stay at the very top of his game every week, Mahomes continues to shock and amaze football fans.
You would think that his team, the people who work with him every day, and who have probably seen his plays many times before, would have little reaction to his abilities, as they have seen it all before.
This appears not to be the case.

An Impressive Play
During the Chiefs’ game with the Denver Broncos, Mahomes threw a touchdown pass that surprised even his team.
The play started with Mahomes having to scramble toward the line of scrimmage.
Many people would have thought at this moment that he would run the ball out of play.
It was 3rd-and-2, near the halfway line, during the opening of the second quarter in the game that the Chiefs were winning, 6-0.
He did not need to do what he did next.
While under pressure from the Broncos defense, and facing toward the stands, Mahomes made a no-look pass to running back Jerick McKinnon, who was in open space not far from Mahomes.
The pass itself was impressive.
But to add to the impressiveness of the play, McKinnon then ran the ball into the end zone for a touchdown, increasing the Chiefs’ lead, and amazing not only the fans but his own team.
This play would help the Chiefs defeat Denver, 34-28.
