The Dallas Cowboys were in desperate need of a big win on Monday night.
Fortunately for them, they faced a Tampa Bay Buccaneers squad that had no business making the playoffs in the first place and that wouldn’t even be there if they didn’t play in the NFL’s least-competitive division.
So, the Cowboys did what they had to do: Make a statement.
They hit the ground running and didn’t need a lot of time to go up on the scoreboard.
Then, they picked off Tom Brady in the end zone, and it all went downhill for the home team.
Some claimed that head coach Mike McCarthy could be coaching for his job in that game and that he could’ve been fired if the Cowboys went back home empty-handed.
So, it was only natural for the veteran coach to celebrate with his guys and loosen up a little after such a massive win.

But then again, it’s not like the Cowboys will have a lot of time to rest and celebrate.
They have their toughest task yet ahead of them, as they’ll visit the red-hot and stacked San Francisco 49ers at Levi’s Stadium, looking to avenge last season’s heart-breaking loss.
Once again, McCarthy’s fate could depend on his team’s performance in the Bay area, as there should be no room for excuses or margin for error after such an impressive regular season, especially going against a rookie quarterback making his second career start in the postseason.
Will coach McCarthy bust his moves again?
Stay tuned to find out.
