Luka Doncic and the Dallas Mavericks failed to make a splash in the 2022-23 NBA season, but everything could change next campaign.
Doncic was great once again, but his good performances didn’t translate into wins, with the Mavs ultimately missing the playoffs.
Now, the Mavericks are getting ready to face another challenging season, and Luka knows he must be at a top level to be able to challenge the rest of the NBA.
That’s why he’s already putting in the work, working out to improve his fitness.

Luka’s shape has always been a controversial topic. His skills are unmatched, and he has the ability to take over games at will.
However, when it comes to his fitness, he has raised many eyebrows around the league.
It’s not a secret that Doncic likes to party and do things that most NBA players don’t do, especially during the offseason.
Now, he’s trying to change that and is working hard to be in the best shape ahead of an important season for the Mavericks.
Moreover, the FIBA World Cup is a couple of months away, and Doncic most likely will represent the Slovenia national team.
Perhaps it is for the international tournament or to make it to the next season in the best possible shape, Doncic is well aware that he needs to make some changes.
The Mavericks will have high expectations for next season, especially if they retain Kyrie Irving. If Doncic returns in the best possible shape, they will be a big threat.
The team still needs to assemble the best possible squads for their superstar, but as long as Doncic is there, they will stand a chance against anybody.
