The Atlanta Falcons had high hopes for Kyle Pitts after making him the highest-drafted tight end in NFL history.
While the team didn’t have much success last season in terms of wins, the former Florida standout lived up to the hype with 1,026 yards and a touchdown.
He had three 100-yard games, the best of which was his 163-yard performance against the Miami Dolphins.
With a season of NFL experience under his belt, the Falcons expect an even better 2022 season from Pitts.
On his part, Pitts is also doing whatever it takes to improve and that’s why he attended Tight End University.

In the video shared by the NFL, Pitts is seen having a conversation with Travis Kelce on proper movement on the offensive line.
Kelce is teaching him that it’s always better to find a way to move forward.
Pitts definitely gained a ton of information from his fellow tight ends in this three-day camp.
While his success can spell trouble for his opponents, the bond between NFL tight ends is stronger because there are only a handful of them who play the position.
What Is Tight End University?
It is a camp established by Kelce, George Kittle, and Greg Olsen to help improve the talent level among their fellow tight ends.
Since there are camps for other positions like quarterback and wide receiver, those three men thought that there should be a platform where they can learn from each other.
Thus, Tight End University was established last year and they had 50 participants.
This year, the number of attendees went up to 85 and they are expecting more in the upcoming years.
It’s also possible that college tight ends might participate to prepare for the NFL level of competition.
