Fans of the Phoenix Suns were elated on Tuesday night, and not just because their team was beating the Sacramento Kings.
The home crowd was loud and boisterous because they were experiencing strong success on the court and also because they got a good look at their new star.

Kevin Durant was in attendance for the Suns-Kings game on Tuesday and he stood and presented himself to the crowd.
Their reaction was electric.
The cheers were thunderous and it was clear everyone watching the game was very excited to see Durant in the flesh.
Some of them might still be pinching themselves after last Thursday.
Fans of the Suns and practically every single team in the NBA have wanted to acquire Durant but it seemed unlikely, even after his demand for a trade last summer.
But that all changed last week when Durant was sent to the Suns from the Brooklyn Nets.
The Suns were already a promising team, even with their troubles this season, but the addition of Durant made their chances of true success so much bigger.
Seeing Durant in person caused pure elation for Suns fans but they still have to wait to see him play.
He is currently rehabbing from an injury and should hopefully be back in late February or early March.
When that day comes, the response from the fans will be even louder than it was on Tuesday.
The Durant chapter of the Suns is about to begin and followers of the team are eager to get it started.
They loved seeing him appear and salute them on Tuesday but now they’re ready to watch him play.
