The verdict is still out on whether Jared Goff is the quarterback the Detroit Lions need.
However, he has a lot of catching up to do after Matthew Stafford has delivered a Super Bowl to the Los Angeles Rams.
Another season brings a new opportunity to reverse the team’s fortunes.
They need all the positive energy they can get especially because they haven’t made the playoffs since 2016 and haven’t won a postseason game since 1991.
The events that occur during the episodes of the latest edition of HBO’s Hard Knocks show a team that would like to buck their losing trend.
For that to happen, Goff must rediscover his Pro Bowl form that made him the first overall selection in 2016.
But while he is doing what he can to turn the Lions into a winner, he is also spending time with fans after practices.

Goff Spends Time With One Of His Top Fans
In this video, he is seen spending quality time with a young fan who is wearing his jersey.
After spotting the kid, Goff asked him his name and gave him a fist bump.
The fan gave Goff his helmet but the quarterback allowed him to wear it.
He assisted the child to try on his helmet and locked on the straps to make it fit comfortably.
After wearing the helmet, Goff took a picture with the child and he even signed his jersey.
Goff said, “Thanks for coming, buddy, I like your jersey.”
After this video, a lot of children and parents will be rooting for Goff to succeed.
He is living up to being a role model and hopes that’s enough to turn things around.
If the Lions suddenly find some good luck, this young fan might be the lucky charm they have been looking for after all.
