MLB stars will live under constant scrutiny and will draw a lot of attention throughout their lives, especially during their active careers.
New York Mets shortstop Francisco Lindor is, without question, an MLB star.
He was in the late-2010s with the Cleveland Guardians and he still is now that he is with the Mets.
He understands that seeing and interacting with fans may mean little for big league players, but for people on the other end, it means the world.
This is particularly true if there are children involved.
Little kids dreaming about becoming major leaguers or just enjoying a good game of baseball represent the best part of the sport.
Lindor knows about this, and he takes the time to sign as many autographs as he can for fans.
He, of course, prioritizes little kids in the process.

That video shows how classy Lindor is.
He might have made mistakes in the past, as we all do, but he does take a lot of time to make sure to sign as many things as possible.
Fans are the root of the game: if nobody watches the product, who are major leaguers playing for?
Lindor, still 29, remains in his prime and ready to give it another shot at chasing the World Series title.
He had a fine 2020 season in which he homered 26 times and hit .270/.339/.449 with a 127 wRC+ and 6.8 Wins Above Replacement (WAR).
He was the heart and soul of the Mets team that made the postseason, even if they lost the NL East in the last minute.
This year, the Mets and Lindor will be even tougher to beat.
