NBA legend Carmelo Anthony participated in a friendly game of one-on-one basketball recently.
But he wasn’t just playing against a friend or former teammate.
Instead, the retired star was on the court facing off against his son, Kiyan.
And a video shared by his mother, La La, via Bleacher Report, showed Kiyan doing some impressive things against his father’s defense.
The young star was putting up shots from all over the court and definitely making his dad sweat.

According to some, Kiyan is a promising NBA prospect who could be entering the league within the next few years.
He played for Long Island Lutheran High School in New York and now has offers to play for Maryland, Illinois, Pittsburgh, Seton Hall, Memphis, Indiana, and others.
At 6-foot-4, Kiyan is built a lot like his father.
According to his video, he plays like him too.
Anthony is just one of a few possible draft prospects who come from NBA royalty.
The most famous, of course, is Bronny James, son of LeBron James.
It seems that, for some, talent just runs in the family.
Kiyan has definitely taken notes from his father, who had a terrific NBA career for 19 years.
During his NBA tenure, he averaged 22.5 points, 6.2 rebounds, and 2.7 assists from 44.7% from the floor.
He was selected as an All-Star ten times and was the scoring champion in 2012-13.
Anthony was never able to win an NBA championship but he did earn a spot on the NBA 75th Anniversary Team.
Now retired, he will be able to sit on the sidelines and root for his very talented son.
