New York Yankees reliever Aroldis Chapman likes big trucks, and there is no shame in that.
He has worked a lot on his physique and his game for several years, so he deserves to enjoy what his earnings allow him to acquire.
He was spotted leaving one of the Yankees’ minor league affiliates after a rehab assignment in style.
What do we mean when we say “in style”?

The Talkin’ Yanks’ caption was hilarious: the truck does look like a tank.
It’s a beautiful black “tank”, for that matter.
Chapman Is Just About Ready To Return To Full Active Duty
Chapman just completed his rehab assignment after overcoming an Achilles issue.
Perhaps it was affecting his control and command, as his 1.64 WHIP for the 2022 season indicates.
He will return to a 3.86 ERA, uncharacteristically high for his standards.
Yankees manager Aaron Boone said the team is probably leaning more towards Friday for Chapman’s return to the big league team.
That way, Chapman won’t make the trip to Houston for tonight’s makeup game.
Instead, he can just join the Yankees in Cleveland on Friday for their series against the Guardians.
Chapman notched strikeouts on two of the three batters he faced in his final rehab appearances at Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Tuesday.
Chapman, who acted as the Yankees closer for years, lost his role when he went down with his injury.
The spectacular Clay Holmes was appointed as the ninth-inning option for as long as Chapman was out, but at this point, Boone probably will stick with Holmes and let Chapman regain his confidence in low-leverage situations.
It’s the right thing to do after such a long layoff.
