There’s always some beauty to be found in the game of baseball.
For example, there was Brett Phillips hitting a home run for his biggest fan, who is dealing with cancer.
There was also the moment from a few days ago where a Toronto Blue Jays fan gave Aaron Judge‘s home run ball to a young New York Yankees fan, who began to cry tears of joy as he hugged the Blue Jays fan.
There’s never a shortage of beautiful moments in baseball and we got to see another one last night.
It turns out this is actually a trend by Tampa Bay Rays catcher Mike Zunino, who shot an “I love you” in sign language to his wife after hitting a home run.
A happy happy dugout after that Mike Zunino 3 run bomb off Robbie Ray puts the Rays up 4-0 on the Mariners.

Love, Sweat, And Tears
This is something Zunino does every time he hits a home run, and he did it again here.
He clearly appreciates and loves his wife, and it’s nice to see him make sure she knows that after every home run he hits.
This is the sign of a devoted husband.
For him to be able to have a way to show his appreciation for her while competing says a lot about Zunino’s character and personality.
There’s clearly more on his mind than just winning a baseball game when he steps out onto the baseball field.
He makes sure to keep his wife in his thoughts while he’s out there, giving him a reason to play hard.
Also, it’s worth noting that he hit this home run off of one of the best pitchers in the game, Robbie Ray.
There’s no doubt he felt his wife’s love and support when he hit that homer.
