The Chicago Bears weren’t all that good last season, especially on the offensive side of the field.
But the team looked much better as the year progressed, and they gave Justin Fields a longer leash, up to the point where he looked like the best second-year quarterback during a stretch of the season.
The team has now taken some big steps to build around him and give him the weapons he needs to thrive, starting with a new No. 1 option in the passing game in D.J. Moore.
The connection is growing stronger!💪

Moore and Fields took the gridiron to practice at the Bears’ OTAs and the chemistry seemed to develop instantly.
The duo even found the end zone during practice as well as some big plays down the field, including a couple of 40+ yard completions.
Of course, this is just shorts and t-shirt practice, but the upside of this duo is more than evident.
Moore is a speedster and he’ll have plenty of space to operate in the Bears’ run-heavy offense, not to mention the fact that Chase Claypool will also draw plenty of defensive attention with that big frame.
Moore has been an underrated receiver for quite a while now.
His QB situation has never been ideal, so finally having some continuity could do wonders for him next season.
The Bears are still a couple of pieces away from legit Super Bowl contention, but they should be a much better team in 2023, especially when it comes to putting up points on the scoreboard.
