Carmelo Anthony is built differently and fans of the New York Knicks are well aware of that.
Anthony spent seven seasons with the Knicks and averaged 24.8 points, 7 rebounds, and 3.2 assists during his time in the Big Apple.
At many times, Anthony was a menacing assassin from all over the court and was nearly impossible to guard when he got rolling.

In one particular game between the Knicks and Chicago Bulls, Anthony shot a couple of daggers that sealed the fate of the visiting Bulls.
From his skill set to his ice-cold, steely persona, Anthony perfectly encapsulated what New York fans wanted from a star player.
All these years later, he is still well regarded in the city that never sleeps because of his time playing for the Knicks.
Carmelo On The Court
The Knicks weren’t Anthony’s first team in the NBA but it was where he really came into his own.
He did incredible things while playing for the Denver Nuggets but there was something about his time at Madison Square Garden that was completely different and special.
It’s no surprise to see that he was an All-Star every season he played in New York.
Unfortunately, Anthony’s tenure in New York was also when he first experienced some injuries, an issue that would follow him after he moved on from the Knicks.
Following his time in New York, Anthony joined the Oklahoma City Thunder, Houston Rockets (briefly), Portland Trail Blazers, and most recently the Los Angeles Lakers.
His output has decreased over the last few years but there are still teams vying to sign this free agent, even as he nears his 39th birthday.
