Ever since he made it to the league, Joey Bosa has been critical for the Los Angeles Chargers defense.
But as great as the Ohio State product has been, he’s also one of the biggest reasons why their season came to an early end.
Bosa was quite emotional throughout the whole Wild Card Round game versus the Jacksonville Jaguars, hurting his team in multiple key drives.
First, he was called for an offside that eventually led to a Jaguars touchdown.
Then, a couple of unsportsmanlike conduct calls changed the whole course of the evening.
The Jaguars scored a touchdown late in the game to put the score at 30-26.
Bosa threw a massive temper tantrum and slammed his helmet on the field as he felt like Jaguars OL Jawaan Taylor should’ve been called for a penalty on the play.
Unsurprisingly, he was sanctioned for that, and coach Doug Pederson elected to put the ball on the one-yard line and go for two instead of kicking the extra point attempt.
The Jaguars were now down 30-28 and within a field goal of pulling off one of the greatest comebacks in NFL playoff history, all because of that.
Yeah, the #Jaguars had no plans to go for 2 before Joey Bosa slammed his helmet.

As you may know by now, Jacksonville wound up dominating Justin Herbert on their next drive, then capping off the win with an epic field goal.
So, as much as the whole Chargers team should be blamed for blowing a 27-0 lead in this game, Joey Bosa should do a lot of soul-searching in the offseason, and his teammates sure deserve an apology.
