The Tennessee Titans have had a rather quiet front for the better part of the offseason, with the trade rumors around Derrick Henry halted and Ryan Tannehill’s future still up in the air.
Regardless, most people can agree that their WR corps was vastly unimpressive last season, so it should be a point of emphasis before the start of the upcoming campaign.
Outside of Treylon Burks, it doesn’t seem like the Titans have any locks to be a starter next season, and it’s not like there’s a plethora of talent available at this point in the offseason.
That’s why the Titans are digging deep into the market to find more veteran help, and they might have found their guy already.
According to NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo, the Titans will meet with Chris Moore, who’s still a free agent after a solid season with the Houston Texans.
Veteran WR Chris Moore is visiting the #Titans today, source says. Had career highs with 48 catches for 548 yards last season for the #Texans. Now exploring another opportunity in the AFC South.

Moore isn’t exactly the most proficient wideout in the league, but he did haul in 48 catches for 548 yards in a somewhat pedestrian passing game last season, so the upside is most definitely there.
Also, with a WR room full of young players — and potentially some rookies — it only makes sense that the team shows interest in the 30-year-old.
Moore has amassed 116 catches for 1,286 yards in 89 games in his career with the Baltimore Ravens and Texans, so he does come with some pedigree.
And while the fans shouldn’t expect an All-Pro kind of performance from him, he’s most definitely an upgrade over what they currently have on their roster.
