Tim Tebow surprised many when signed a contract in the offseason with the Jacksonville Jaguars.
A former player of Jaguar’s head coach Urban Meyer, the reunion made sense.
But, many questioned what Tebow would bring to the NFL, having been away from the game for many years.
The Weakness of Tim Tebow’s Game
While Tebow has had some great moments so far in camp, there are still some things for him to work on according to Meyer.
Meyer talked recently spoke about Tebow’s flaw in a press conference.
“He has good hands. In his drill work, he’s great, but when you get in a competitive moment, just [because of his] lack of experience he wants to body the ball,” Meyer told reporters at Jaguars camp Saturday. “When you get to a point where two people are going after it, you have to go get the ball. He is fighting through that a little bit, but he has the skill set to catch the ball.”
This shouldn’t come across as anything alarming as Tebow has a great chance to make the Jaguars roster.

Tebow’s unique skill-set brings a lot to the table in comparison to other tight ends on the roster including Chris Manhertz and rookie Luke Farrell.
He also has plenty of time to iron out any flaws before the Jaguars make their roster cuts at the end of the preseason.
For many fans, it’s hard to believe that Urban Meyer, Trevor Lawrence, and Tim Tebow are all on the same field together.
Day 1 of Jaguars training camp…
… if you would have told me this time last year that Urban Meyer, Trevor Lawrence, and Tim Tebow would be on the same practice field, there would not be enough alcohol to believe it.

Will all this talent translate to a successful season in Jacksonville?
We will have to wait and see.
