While Matt Rhule was the first NFL coach to get fired this season, there are more coaches still on the hot seat.
With several teams doing poorly this season, those coaches are inching closer to losing their job.
However, Vegas is putting out odds on who they think will be gone next.
So which NFL coach leads with the odds, and why are they there?
Odds Put Cardinals HC Kliff Kingsbury In The Lead For Next HC Firing
Arizona Cardinals head coach Kliff Kingsbury is Vegas’ pick as the next firing in the NFL.
Updated odds to be the next #NFL head coach fired (via @betonline_ag):
Kliff Kingsbury (-105)
Nathaniel Hackett (+200)
Ron Rivera (+300)
Frank Reich (12/1)
Dan Campbell (16/1)
Kevin Stefanski (22/1)
Matt Eberflus (33/1)— Jaime Eisner (@JaimeEisner) October 19, 2022
He leads the pack with his team going 2-4 this season, a mark no one saw coming from a pretty stacked offense.
Despite having plenty of playmakers for Kyler Murray, the young QB hasn’t done very well.
The lack of leadership from Kingsbury hasn’t helped Murray improve.
After coming off an MVP-like start to 2021, Murray is having an awful 2022 season.
His six touchdowns against four interceptions puts his season QBR down at 81.8.
However, the second coach on the list is an interesting pick from Vegas.
Denver Broncos HC Nathaniel Hackett Comes In Second On Odds List
The Denver Broncos have been a train wreck under Nathaniel Hackett.
While this is his first season as a head coach, his horrible play calling and game management have cost the Broncos games.
Their defense keeps them in games, but their star power on offense keeps letting them down.
It’s so bad, Broncos fans are leaving home games before the game is over.
With fans checking out, it might be a short rookie coaching season for Hackett in Denver.
