Most NFL fans who are casual viewers only hear about some of the most popular NFL players.
Because of this, many other talented players are getting overlooked.
However, that doesn’t mean their work is going unnoticed this season.
With the NFL season past the halfway point, what two players are under the radar and having a great season?
2. Dameon Pierce
When NFL fans think about the Houston Texans, they think about Brandin Cooks, the team’s star receiver.
However, they have another star in running back Dameon Pierce.

This rookie running back is putting up solid numbers for his team.
While their record is keeping eyes off him, he is still shining with how he plays.
The fourth-round pick from the 2022 NFL Draft is fifth in rushing yards (772) this season.
His six rushes of 20+ yards puts him in a tie for fourth place among all other players.
While the Texans might have a poor season, Pierce is a bright spot for the team.
1. Matthew Judon
With people talking about Nick Bosa and Von Miller, the New England Patriots have Matthew Judon.
He’s just one sack away from his career high of 12.5 sacks from 2021.
His 11.5 sacks this season puts him well ahead of many other well-known players.
With him doing so well this season, he’s showing consistent improvement over his previous season with the Patriots.
He’s averaging just over one sack per game, and has only two games with zero sacks recorded this season.
His consistency is a key part of the improvements going on in New England this season.
It also keeps him under the radar with most defenses.
