They have both found great success right from the start of their careers and have been talked about as the future of their respective franchises.
As the new NBA season begins, these two players could both make the Western Conference Finals and beyond.

It is wild to think that both Doncic and Ayton are celebrating just four years in the NBA.
They came into the league together, part of a promising rookie class that has shown a lot of power since.
People will always debate which player is better but the bottom line is this: Doncic and Ayton are two of the most talented young men in the association.
The Class of 2018
Ayton was the number one draft pick in the 2018 NBA Draft and has remained with the Phoenix Suns ever since then.
As for Doncic, he was the third pick and was actually selected by the Atlanta Hawks before being traded to the Dallas Mavericks, the team which he currently still leads.
It was a great class but Doncic, Ayton (and Young) shine the brightest four years later.
Doncic is of particular interest because conventional wisdom says that he could be winning his first MVP trophy in 2022-23.
As for Ayton, his future with the Suns looks a bit troubled: he has signed a new deal with the team but inside reporting suggests that he’s unhappy with how he is being treated by Monty Williams and the front office.
