Larry Nance Jr. of the Portland Trail Blazers and Josh Hart of the New Orleans Pelicans are making the best of a difficult situation.
It isn’t easy to be traded in the NBA.
Your life and your career are thrown up in the air as you are sent to a completely different part of the country to play with a wildly changed team and crew.
That’s what happened for Nance and Hart.
Up until a few weeks ago, Nance was playing for the Blazers in Portland while Hart was signed to the Pelicans in New Orleans.
But when a major trade had the two friends switch places in the league, they decided they’d make their lives a little easier.
“I own a house in Portland. He owns a house in New Orleans. So we just swapped.”

Nance revealed that he and Hart traded houses, telling Bleacher Report, “I own a house in Portland. He owns a house in New Orleans. So we just swapped.”
That’s a smart, easy way of handling things!
Cross-Country Change
Nance and Hart have been friends for a long time and that’s what led to this humorous, one-of-a-kind house swap.
They became close during this time together for the Los Angeles Lakers a few seasons ago and played together for the majority of Hart’s rookie year.
After that, they both moved around the league – Nance first went to the Cavs and Hart took off to New Orleans when the Lakers traded for Anthony Davis.
Both have said they wish they could be playing together again – it’s a shame they came so close to teaming up in Portland.
But at least they are still staying close and doing what friends do – even in the most unusual of situations.
