With Carlos Correa officially on board after signing a three-year, $105.3 million contract, things are looking up for the young upstart Minnesota Twins, who are looking to rebound from a 73-89 season that took them from back-to-back AL Central champs to last place.
Signing Correa is a good place for them to start.
As it turns out, the move to sign Correa was quite good for them as a business too.
Twins fans are ready to roll in 2022 and are super pumped to see their new shortstop in action.
As it turns out, the Twins have sold over 100,000 tickets since bringing Correa on board.

Business Is Boomin’
Signing a superstar is always good for business, but for the Twins, it’s really looking promising.
If that many tickets are being sold, even after such a down year in 2021, that means Twins fans are excited about the possibility of being a contender this year with their new superstar.
Correa might just be that piece that gets them back into contention in 2022 after falling out of the race last season.
The Twins got better and younger in the span of just a few days and look to be a solid contender for one of the three Wild Card spots in the American League.
They may not catch the Chicago White Sox, but they are a much better team now than they were a year ago and a Wild Card berth is completely within reach for Minnesota.
They’ll have some stiff competition from teams such as the Seattle Mariners, New York Yankees, Boston Red Sox, Tampa Bay Rays, and others, but Correa is the X-factor for the Twins and if he can play up to his level of capability and keep them in contention, more tickets should sell for games at Target Field.
