Carlos Correa who?
The Minnesota Twins remain in first place in the American League Central division and haven’t skipped a beat since losing star shortstop Correa to a finger injury.
That’s probably because Correa’s injury opened the door for their top prospect and former No. 1 draft pick, shortstop Royce Lewis.
Lewis was called up to the big leagues on Friday to fill in for Correa and has done nothing but impress and turn heads with his abilities.
On Sunday afternoon during the Twins’ series finale with the Oakland Athletics, Lewis made a fine play, charging a softly hit ground ball by Sheldon Neuse and throwing him out at first base by just a hair.
The Twins made sure to hype him up some more by tweeting a video of the play.

Correa Who?
Lewis is making everybody forget about Correa for now.
The Twins are excited to have him on their big-league roster, as he seems to do nothing but put on a show.
They needed a spark and Lewis looks to have provided it.
This man can play some solid defense and swing the bat pretty well too.
He’ll certainly be a key piece for the club going forward.
No wonder the Twins continue to hype up this guy.
He can do it all and has already made a big impact on the club.
When Correa is ready to return, he and Lewis will form a solid dynamic duo in the Twins’ infield, as both of them are capable of making incredible plays.
We’ll see if Lewis can continue showing off his baseball abilities so the Twins can hype him up some more.
