The game between the Minnesota Twins and the Cleveland Guardians on Wednesday night was a wild one.
The game was back-and-forth, with the Guardians jumping out to an early 3-0 lead, only to lose it late and fall behind in the top of the 10th.
But with the Twins leading 6-3, Cleveland began to chip away and ultimately won it on Josh Naylor‘s walk-off home run, capping off a four-run inning.
Guardians Nation was sent into a frenzy, but on the Twins side, things weren’t exactly so rosy.
One fan tweeted a video of the walk-off home run but with the Twins broadcast, and the video shows how the broadcasters immediately fell silent after the ball cleared the wall.

The Sound Of Silence
This is about what you would expect a walk-off home run call to be for the losing team.
The Twins led 6-3 and were so close to ending the game and pulling off a solid come-from-behind victory, but it was not meant to be, as the Guardians crashed the party.
But the silence by the Twins broadcasters is quite something.
It’s exactly how a fan of the losing team would react when they’re a strike away from winning a game on the road, only to allow a walk-off home run and lose it.
You can’t really fault the broadcasters for that.
The final words that were spoken in that clip were simply a recap of how everything snowballed for Minnesota.
It was yet another bullpen meltdown, which is common these days it seems.
The Twins just happened to be the team that coughed up a late lead.
There’s one more game to go in the series, with Thursday being the rubber game.
