The 2023 NFL Pro Bowl has a new leading vote-getter.
Say hello to Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa.
#Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa leads all players in Pro Bowl voting in the latest count, the NFL announced.
The top-5:
– Tua Tagovailoa
– Justin Jefferson
– Patrick Mahomes
– Tyreek Hill
– Travis Kelce— Ari Meirov (@MySportsUpdate) December 7, 2022
In a surprising update yesterday, it was announced that Tua was leading the Pro Bowl votes, which is ahead of stars Justin Jefferson, Patrick Mahomes, Tyreek Hill, and Travis Kelce.
Tagovailoa is having a third-year breakout season for the Dolphins which is one of the main reasons for their success in 2022.
The Success Of Tua Under Mike McDaniel
In his first two NFL seasons, Tagovailoa was subjected to a flurry of coaching miscues, but didn’t have a great scheme to work under, and didn’t have great weapons to work with.
McDaniel is the definition of a player’s coach.
He is routinely seen having a ton of fun with his players on the sideline, and there are continued reports coming out about his impact on the Miami locker room.
A more cohesive locker room and better team culture typically lead to NFL success, which has assuredly been a big reason for Tua’s success this season.
McDaniel and the front office went out and acquired Hill in the offseason, affirming that they wanted to give Tua the best opportunity to succeed.
Having a tandem of Hill and Jaylen Waddle certainly helps out a young, budding star like Tua.
Judging by the Pro Bowl votes up to this point, it’s clear that fans all around the NFL like what they’re seeing in Miami.
Tua and Hill are in the top five of the voting.
Will this regular season success lead to playoff wins?
