Not so long ago, most people in NFL circles would’ve argued that Jalen Carter should be a top 3 pick in the upcoming NFL Draft.
Talent-wise, skill-wise, and body-wise, there’s no denying that the Georgia standout should even be in the mix to be the first guy taken off the board.
Nonetheless, his recent involvement in a fatal crash has taken a massive toll on his draft stock, and rightfully so.

Notably, Carter has also met with the Philadelphia Eagles, and he’d be a massive addition to both of these teams.
However, with all the narratives around him right now, it wouldn’t be shocking if both teams took a chance and chose to pass on him with their first selection, hoping to land him later in the first round.
Of course, that would be a major risk, given how talented and impactful he is, but NFL teams have chosen to avoid PR scandals, even if that means passing on great players.NEXT: Fans React To Bears' Statement About Potentially Being On Hard Knocks
