The Portland Trail Blazers have had the worst luck with injuries lately.
As everyone knows, the struggling team lost their lead star Damian Lillard last season due to an injury and surgery.
Their center Jusuf Nurkic also sat out because of injury.
And now that bad luck is making its way to the Summer League.
Trail Blazers lottery pick Shaedon Sharpe has a small labral tear in his left shoulder and will be re-evaluated in 10-to-14 days, team says.

Shaedon Sharpe, the team’s No. 7 overall pick in last month’s NBA Draft, will sit out the rest of the Summer League because of a small labral tear in his left shoulder.
He will be re-evaulated in 10-to-14 days, according to the team.
That means he could be ready for the regular season when it starts in the fall but his days of impressing fans in Las Vegas are over.
Tough Times For Portland
We aren’t sure of the Blazers’ plans for Sharpe in the regular season.
The guard could or could not be a part of the team’s upcoming lineup but there is a lot up in the air with Portland.
It’s no secret that the team is desperately trying to pursue a win-now rebuild in order to make them competitive again.
They have a few star pieces in place – Lillard and Nurkic, of course – but they’re lacking one more major missing piece.
A lot is riding on the upcoming season: if it goes well, Lillard will likely want to stick around in Rose City longer.
If it doesn’t go well, he could demand a trade even though he just signed another contract extension.
As for Sharpe, there are a lot of questions about the Canadian.
He actually never played a game for the Kentucky Wildcats after signing with them but his high school record was impressive as he averaged 21.4 points and 6 rebounds.
Those are the sort of numbers that would look good in Portland – we just don’t know who he will be playing alongside.
