Klay Thompson of the Golden State Warriors has had a rough postseason.
Actually, he’s had a rough time since returning to the game after two years away.
He hasn’t been bad by any means but he has been inconsistent at times.
There are moments when he’s looked like his regular old self and then other moments when he’s had trouble making the shots that used to come naturally for him.
During the NBA Finals, Thompson has shown signs of true, iconic talent.
I feel like Klay going for 50 in Game 6 , he just getting warm right now.

This led to Trae Young of the Atlanta Hawks making a bold prediction about Thompson before Thursday’s Game 6.
On Twitter, he said, “I feel like Klay going for 50 in Game 6, he just getting warm right now.”
If Thompson really puts up 50 points in Game 6, the championship is likely secured for the Warriors – but will that happen?
Game 6 Klay
Thompson has made a name for himself as someone who gets really fired up at the end of a playoff series.
That has earned him the nickname of “Game 6 Klay.”
But will this version of the star show up against the Celtics?
The Warriors sure hope so because that would all but ensure their victory – but the problem with Thompson lately is that he’s been hot and cold far too often.
He was hot on Monday night in Game 5, scoring 21 points and shooting 5-of-11 from the three-point line.
But he’s also had bad nights too and it’s hard to tell how he’ll perform game to game.
The good news for the team is that Thompson will only get better as time goes on.
That means that when next season begins, fans can expect to see a lot more of vintage Thompson.
