Chris Paul is a legend in the game of basketball.
He has accomplished almost everything you possibly could in the NBA.
Paul is in his 16th NBA season and is still playing at an elite level.
Point God 🔥

His current team, the Phoenix Suns, have a great chance of making the NBA Finals; which would be Paul’s first trip to one.
For his 16 seasons in the league, he has played on five teams now.
There have been so many different iterations of Paul’s teams.
You have his young years and now this year as the wise veteran.
With so many teams, there must be a best one he has been on.
That is what we want to figure out.
What is the best team of Paul’s career?
3. 2014-15 Los Angeles Clippers
Paul and the Los Angeles Clippers were together for six seasons.
Each season was met with a playoff appearance.
However, the 2014-15 Clippers were his best.
They were the owners of the best offense in the NBA, despite this being the first Golden State Warriors team in their dynasty run.
This team entered the playoffs as the third seed and had to take on the defending champion San Antonio Spurs in the first round.
That series was a war.
Paul had an unbelievable Game 7 performance to take the series.
Unfortunately, Paul injured his hamstring, but toughed it out for the next round.
The Clippers took a 3-2 lead over the Houston Rockets and Game 6 looked like it was all over.
With less than eight minutes left at Staples Center, the Clippers were up by 12.
Then tragedy struck and the Rockets came back due to a plethora of threes from Josh Smith and Corey Brewer.
Paul was on the cusp of his first Conference Finals and a matchup with the upstart Warriors.
This Clippers team was very good and should have been in the Conference Finals.
However, they ended up choking and missed out on their last true chance at winning it all with that team.
2. 2020-21 Phoenix Suns
This might be recency bias, but this Suns team is one of the best Paul has been on.
This is the first season with Paul on the Suns and they have instantly transformed into a title contender.
They are currently two games away from making the Western Conference Finals.
Paul has shown his great leadership once again, with the Suns being the latest example.
"Book scores in his sleep."
"Jae is never phased by anything."
"Mikal is like our unsung hero."
"DA guards, he runs, he rebounds, he does everything."@CP3 appreciating his teammates after the @Suns Game 2 win.. #ThatsGame pic.twitter.com/cHjzBkooJo

The Suns went from not making the playoffs the previous season to being the second seed in the West.
In the first round, they took down the defending champion Los Angeles Lakers.
This Suns team might bring Paul his very first NBA title.
1. 2017-18 Houston Rockets
The team that was the closest to making the Finals with Paul is his best team.
In 2017, the Houston Rockets decided to trade for Paul and compete against the Warriors, who now had Kevin Durant.
The Rockets ended up having the best record in the 2017-18 season over the Warriors and faced them in the Western Conference Finals.
This team had the MVP in James Harden, Sixtth Man of the Year in Eric Gordon, and Coach of the Year in Mike D’Antoni.
Paul was on a juggernaut of a team.
However, Paul hurt his hamstring in Game 5 of that series.
The Rockets were still up 3-2 and one game away from making the Finals.
They still blew the lead and the Warriors took advantage to make the Finals once again.
Paul was close, but couldn’t break through due to his body.
That was the closest he has ever gotten to a title.
The 2018 Rockets were the best team Paul has ever been a part of in his long NBA career.
