The NFL Scouting Combine is in full swing in Indianapolis and the prospects for the upcoming draft are hoping to perform well.
Having excellent numbers throughout the tests and drills can help fulfill their childhood dreams by improving their draft position.
However, one aspirant is winning the hearts of football fans and the American public in general with his sweet gesture.
Former Liberty Flames quarterback Malik Willis was seen helping out a homeless individual by handing out something, possibly a warm hat.
Was having lunch yesterday and saw one of the Combine guys helping out someone on some hard times…@malikwillis being great even when nobody is watching. How can you not be a fan of this guy? pic.twitter.com/BmFzUM66NU

The tweet reads, “Was having lunch yesterday and saw one of the Combine guys helping out someone on some hard times… @malikwillis being great even when nobody is watching. How can you not be a fan of this guy?”
The gesture went viral and NBC Sports and NFL GameDay asked the person who shared the video for permission to use the clip on their shows.
This act by Willis will make him the talk of the town during the Combine which will help with teams paying more attention to him.
He proved with one gesture that he’s a high-character guy.
Prospects Are Selling Themselves To NFL Teams
In a nutshell, the Combine is the opportunity for athletes like Willis to promote themselves to the 32 NFL teams.
They can do so by doing great during the drills and by being exceptional with their interviews.
However, they also make teams remember them by being themselves like Willis showed in this video.
He could have been busy making his way to the hotel room.
However, he stopped to helped someone in need, showing the kind of guy he is.
Through this gesture alone, football fans will be rooting for him to get drafted in a few months.
