The NBA Draft Lottery is over and the combine is currently taking place.
That means the draft is slowly approaching.
The mock drafts from all of the experts are being thrown out there for us to read.
Snap mock draft:
1 Pistons – Cade Cunningham
2 Rockets – Jalen Green
3 Cavaliers – Evan Mobley
4 Raptors – Jalen Suggs
5 Magic -Jonathan Kuminga
6 Thunder – Scottie Barnes
7 Warriors – Davion Mitchell
8 Magic – Keon Johnson
9 Kings – Franz Wagner— Jonathan Givony (@DraftExpress) June 23, 2021
We, the fans, are beginning to place who we want on our favorite team.
The draft is a great moment for fans and organizations, but more importantly for the players.
However, not every mock draft is correct.
You have to expect players to rise in the draft at a fast pace.
Patrick Williams was the example last year.
He kept climbing the boards until draft night, where he went fourth overall.
When there are players shooting up the draft boards, there have to be players that fall.
Some players are going into the process expecting to be a lottery selection, but it might not play out that way.
In recent years, Bol Bol is the prime example.
We expected him to be a lottery pick that could fall just a little bit.
He fell all the way to the second round.
These following players may not fall completely out of the first round.
However, these two prospects have a good chance of falling down draft boards.
2. Corey Kispert, Gonzaga
One of the few seniors of this draft that should be going in the first round is Corey Kispert.
Kispert played all four of collegiate years at Gonzaga.
He was a sharpshooter; probably one of the best in college basketball history.
His last two seasons, he shot 44 percent from three.
Kispert’s biggest strength will easily follow him to the NBA game.
However, he does have weaknesses.
That 30 inch standing vert from Corey Kispert won't hurt his stock any … had one of the fastest shuttle times too.

His athleticism is the biggest concern.
He is not a bad athlete, but he is very mediocre.
We saw in the tournament that he was overmatched at times, including in the National Championship game.
Also, his age can be his downfall.
He is already 22 years old.
Teams in the late lottery might want to swing for a long-term project with potential.
Kispert is a finished project.
There is no mystery with him.
1. Franz Wagner, Michigan
Franz Wagner is the younger brother of Moritz Wagner, who is in the NBA already.
The younger brother might end being a lot better than the older brother.
He is pretty good defensively and has a great touch.
Wagner is a big point forward standing at 6-foot-9 with solid passing abilities.
ESPN has him ranked as the 10th best prospect in this draft.
However, we can see him falling.
He has a good touch, but tends to shy away from contact.
His lack of aggressiveness can be a problem at the next level.
Wagner is not as athletic as you would hope for someone playing the wing position.

The talent is there, but we also saw his play in the tournament.
It was an awful showing.
The Elite Eight was his last performance, but his worst.
He shot 1-10 and 1-6 from three.
Wagner needs to show they can score at the next level and shoot better.
If not, expect a slight fall in the draft.
