The 2022 NBA Draft is Thursday night, meaning that dozens of young athletes will finally get their chance to prove their abilities in the league.
But the draft isn’t the end of a process.
In fact, it’s actually just the beginning.
That’s because once the prospects have been selected by their new teams the hard work begins and they have to learn how to play on such a big stage with other strong talents.
It’s time for these young guys to step up in a huge way.

Paolo Banchero of Duke is well aware of that and he’s not taking a second to rest or celebrate.
The Seattle native was seen in the gym on Wednesday night, working out and taking shots just hours before his name is called at the draft.
This shows that Banchero wants to only get better and better now that his NBA career is about to start.
Where will Bancerho go and what will he bring to his team?
Big Time Banchero
It’s hard to tell where Banchero will land in the draft order but he’s most certainly going to be in the top three.
For a while, it seemed like he’d be the number one pick but the latest rumors put him as number three, meaning he’d be making his home with the Houston Rockets.
And what sort of player would the Rockets get if they sign Banchero?
In his 2021-22 season with Duke, Bancerho put up 17.2 points, 7.8 rebounds, and 3.2 assists.
He also nabbed 1.2 steals per game.
Teams throughout the league are intrigued and excited by Banchero’s speed and shooting ability, as well as his rebounding skills.
Whichever team ends up getting him will have a driven and talented young man ready to make an impression.
