The Chicago White Sox are currently enduring their worst stretch of the season.
They have lost nine of their last 11 games and four in a row, and have seen their record fall to a highly disappointing 63-65.
It’s hard to think about any other team with higher preseason expectations than the White Sox, with similarly poor results.
The White Sox’s manager Tony La Russa offered some comments to the media after his team’s recent poor run of results.
“Asked about frustration, as the White Sox lost their ninth out of their last 11, Tony La Russa said: ‘I just get angry. I don’t like frustration, discouragement. That’s loser crap. Just seeps energy out of your body. I just get angry and want to do something about it,'” The Athletic’s James Fegan tweeted.

The White Sox Need To Start Winning Soon
It may not suit him to say that something is “loser crap” when he currently has one of the American League’s best teams in spring training with a losing record.
La Russa doesn’t seem to have a clue on what is going on with the White Sox or how to fix it: the game just passed him by.
He has shown he has struggled keeping up with recent trends and rule changes; and is as old-school as they get.
It’s not just his fault, to be fair: injuries have hit the Pale Hose hard, and coaching and player development have been an issue, too.
That is not necessarily the manager’s fault.
If the team doesn’t improve, they risk missing out the postseason: as things stand, they would be out of it if the season ended today.
The White Sox’s fall from grace has been rough.
