Tom Brady has a long history with the Miami Dolphins.
That history is of him beating the team year after year as the quarterback of the New England Patriots.
However, news stories keep linking him going to play for the team that has hated him for decades.
Those stories first started after the release of head coach Brian Flores.
He would be the person to spill the beans of the Hollywood-like plot of the Dolphins and Brady.
When he filed his lawsuit against the NFL, he would use the Brady/Dolphins move as part of his filing.
It would also bring former New Orleans Saints head coach Sean Payton into the spotlight.
A Hollywood-Like Story With Plot Twists
The Flores lawsuit would be the plot twist in this story, ending a Brady to Miami move.
Imagine Tom Brady actually went to Miami before the Flores lawsuit. Brady leading the offense with crazy fast weapons; Flores boosting the defense far above talent level as always. Could've been a run.
But good luck Tua.

However, that’s not the only plot twist in this story.
Brady would retire after his team, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, would lose in the NFC playoffs.
But that retirement only lasted 40 days.
He would come back to the team, and days later, their head coach would retire.
While Brady and former head coach Bruce Arians say they are good with each other, other people say that’s not true.
People believe Brady wanted away from Arians, leading to his alleged desire to play in Miami.
I’m not surprised by this. I think Arians is a major factor in Tom Brady’s retirement announcement in the first place and subsequent desire to play in Miami, to get away from him. IMO https://t.co/hkHS32Sidv

But as Billy Mays would say in his commercials, there’s more.
Brady Was Set To Be Part-Owner In Miami
One of the biggest things to get Brady to Miami was the temptation of being a part owner.
Pat McAfee seems to ask the questions about Brady being not only QB in Miami, but also part-owner.

Those questions are legitimate to ask when it comes down to what’s going on.
However, there are other pressing questions to ask about this entire story.
Did things only sour after Flores spilled the beans on what Miami wanted?
Were the Bucs forced to place Arians in a front office role to keep Brady around?
Did Sean Payton retire from the Saints because he would have been the next coach of the Dolphins?
None of these questions have been answered by anyone.
But 2023 could answer some of those questions.
2022 Is Brady’s Last Year With His Contract In Tampa Bay
After this season is over, Brady is a free agent yet again.
"If Tom Brady does not redo his contract, it does not take a rocket scientist to know that Brady and Sean are going to be in Miami next year."

That means he can freely go to Miami, with no trade deal involved.
The Dolphins can just offer him a contract and he can accept it.
However, there will always be the people that will question him signing with the Dolphins if it happens in 2023.
People will start believing those stories of Brady plotting to come to Miami.
They will also believe all the other stories that came long with that one.
It will add fuel to the fire of every story in 2022 if he goes to the Dolphins in 2023 as a free agent.
People will use his signing as proof that every other story about Brady is true.
So if he signs with Miami in 2023 and people believe all the other stories as well, you heard it here first.
