Former Tampa Bay Buccaneers and New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady announced his retirement after 22 NFL seasons.
But it seems like he is pulling off a Brett Favre.
If you remember, the longtime Green Bay Packers play-caller initially announced that he would be retiring, only to take it back.
As a result, the Packers traded him to the New York Jets.
For now, Brady won’t be returning to the Buccaneers in 2022.
However, his recent answers may give a contrasting vibe, as shared by The Athletic’s Greg Auman.

Auman shared a screenshot of Brady’s reply to Fred Couples when the quarterback guested on the latter’s radio show on Sirius XM.
But when Couples asked what Brady will be doing next, his response is both reassuring and cryptic.
What Brady Said To Couples
At first, Brady mentioned that he spent more time with his family over the last five weeks.
He also played some golf and will pay a visit to his parents.
Those are typical activities he does during the offseason and before training camp starts.
But once those months wherein the teams start to practice, it would be interesting to see how Brady will fill in the hours.
He might spend more time with his family or tend to his growing business empire.
However, he seems to be leaving the door for a possible return open by saying sentences like “I wish a had a clear vision of what the future holds” and “We’ll figure out where we go from there.”
It would be a struggle for anyone to find something to do after having a routine for so long.
He will start to get that feeling as football season nears and the competitive itch might lead him to return.
