The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are off to a fairly good start after winning two of their first three games in the 2022 NFL season.
They are finding ways to win even if injuries on offense hamper them.
But the Buccaneers will face a bigger challenge beyond their Week 4 game against the Kansas City Chiefs.
It’s a larger concern than football because Hurricane Ian ravaged their home state.
Fitch Ratings estimated the damage and losses brought by the hurricane to Florida from $25 billion to $40 billion.
Worst yet, the death toll is at 21, and more people are in need of immediate help.
For that reason, Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady will be doing his part to assist more people.
Happy were able to head home for Sunday night, but so many people in Florida won’t be able to do the same. I’ll be making a donation to the Florida Disaster Fund to get things started, and I’m hoping the rest of the NFL family in our state will follow suit https://t.co/fCMDsdnruE

Brady tweeted, “Happy were able to head home for Sunday night, but so many people in Florida won’t be able to do the same. I’ll be making a donation to the Florida Disaster Fund to get things started, and I’m hoping the rest of the NFL family in our state will follow suit. Our neighbors support us endlessly, it’s time to return the favor.”
Fire The Cannons Of Hope
The hurricane brought concerns about where the Buccaneers-Chiefs game will take place.
While Raymond James Stadium is the original venue, the NFL identified Minnesota’s U.S. Bank Stadium as the potential host due to the weather disturbance.
However, the game will proceed with Tampa Bay playing host in the rematch of Super Bowl LV.
The Buccaneers won their first two games against the Dallas Cowboys and New Orleans Saints, respectively.
Unfortunately, they fell to the Green Bay Packers in Week 3, 14-12.
Despite that defeat, Tampa Bay’s defense is keeping them in games by giving up just nine points per game.
