Tom Brady’s second retirement from the NFL gave him a long list of options to take.
While last year had rumors sending him to the Miami Dolphins, fans instead saw him sticking with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
However, NFL insider Dov Kleiman is sharing the list of options the legendary quarterback had before retiring.
In a tweet, he lists how the San Francisco 49ers, Las Vegas Raiders, and Miami Dolphins were on his list of new teams.
Prior to his retirement, Tom Brady went over his options, including the #49ers, #Raiders and #Dolphins, according to @JeffDarlington
When a return to the #Patriots was suggested to Brady, he quickly said: "No, that ain't happening."

However, when his old team, the New England Patriots, were brought up, Brady was quick to say “no” to that idea.
While some fans of the Patriots wish he could have retired with them, he’s denying them this opportunity.
The seven-time Super Bowl champion quarterback’s refusal to return to New England might come from old rumors about him and the team.
With him refusing to go back to his old team, it makes people believe in those old rumors.
Those rumors had him and head coach Bill Belichick having bad blood with each other.
With Belichick still coaching in New England, it might give weight to those rumors.
However, Kleiman’s tweet also brings up the Dolphins as an option, which some fans thought Brady was going to last season.
With him having them as an option in 2023, everything from Kleiman’s tweet brings back old rumors.
But as everyone saw, the legendary quarterback chose retirement over playing another year in the NFL.
As a 45-year-old, he feels moving on is the best option for him.
The move now gives him time to think about other options outside of playing in the NFL.
