While the pairings are of different eras, the parallels between their stories are undeniable.
They played for great teams during their time and met when the games highly mattered.
In some ways, their rivalries also brought unprecedented attention to their respective leagues.
For the Brady-Manning rivalry, it was a face-off that was easy to sell.
But even if they were competitive on the field, they are good friends off it.
However, their rivalry might take a light turn as Manning finally created an Instagram account.
As of writing, he only has one post but has over 130,000 followers.
Brady took notice of his “rival’s” Instagram birth and decided to share his thoughts.

Brady said in response to the Denver Broncos’ post regarding Manning’s Instagram account creation, “I already had an Instagram..So I just unretired when I got bored.. Welcome Peyton!”
Only time will tell if the two great quarterbacks will collaborate on an Instagram Reel.
One thing is for sure: the light-hearted digital jabs between the two have just begun.
Staying Close To Football
Brady ended his 40-day retirement to return for a 23rd NFL season.
His announcement helped the Tampa Bay Buccaneers bring back their stars like Chris Godwin, Ryan Jensen, and Leonard Fournette.
The 44-year-old quarterback will prepare for the grind as he targets his eighth Super Bowl victory.
Meanwhile, Manning is still involved in football, particularly with the Broncos.
He is reported to be part of an ownership group that is bidding to purchase the Broncos franchise from the Bowlen family.
Aside from that capacity, he also broadcasts Monday Night Football games with his brother Eli in what became known as “Manningcast.”
His constant exposure in football will only help increase his Instagram following rapidly.
