Tom Brady Had The Perfect Response To A Fellow Madden Snub

Offensive Rookie of the Year Ja’Marr Chase isn’t happy with his Madden NFL 23 player rating of 87.

He does have the right to complain after finishing fourth in receiving yards and third in touchdowns last season.

Chase also set a new record for most receiving yards by a rookie.

The former LSU standout will use his low ranking as motivation to dominate the league.

However, quarterback Tom Brady said that Chase should not pay attention to that number.

Don’t sweat it man. Madden didn’t even put me in the game my second year 😂 @Real10jayy__ https://t.co/je5GbMfFrQ

Brady was a relative unknown before the 2001 season started that they placed “QB NO. 12” instead of his name.

However, the 44-year-old play-caller can laugh about it because he has won seven Super Bowls.

Likewise, 2001 was the year he broke into the NFL limelight after taking over from Drew Bledsoe.

He did not look back since and has brought a championship to two NFL franchises.

Still, it’s nice to use anything negative as motivation to prove the doubters wrong.

This time, Chase would like to make his case for a higher Madden rating by continuing where he left off last season.

Brady Noticed Low Rating In One Category

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers starter could have let his 2001 Madden rankings slide.

However, he shared his sentiments about his low mark on awareness.

41 awareness was just unnecessarily mean. https://t.co/o7cXnsICTz

Brady said, “41 awareness was just unnecessarily mean.”

It’s like they predicted that Brady wouldn’t know what’s coming for him.

Luckily for him, those who gave him that low grade was wrong.

As one of the most cerebral quarterbacks in NFL history, he knows how to beat every defense or defensive player for that matter.

His composure also lets him lead the Buccaneers to victory even if they are down in the fourth quarter.

Therefore, that 41 rating is an ancient relic related to one of the game’s greatest winners.
