When it comes to the NBA, clutch time is typically defined as moments when the scoring margin between teams is within 5 points with 5 or fewer minutes remaining in the game.
We have all seen some incredible clutch performances in the NBA, those amazing buzzer-beaters, dunks, and blocks, that quite literally seal the deal for a team and steal victory away from another.
It makes for exciting basketball and every team wants a few players who are able to create incredible clutch moments.

Right now, there are three players in the league who are scoring the most points in clutch-time situations.
Jalen Brunson of the New York Knicks has scored 52 points, while Luka Doncic of the Dallas Mavericks has created 52.
Meanwhile, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander of the Oklahoma City Thunder has the most clutch-time points with 60.
This is yet another reason why the Thunder are so happy with Gilgeous-Alexander, who is now the face of that franchise and one of the most compelling young players in the NBA.
Clutch Kings
Before this season, almost everyone considered Doncic to be the clutch champion in the league.
He had numerous games when he would grab a W for his team, sometimes with the most shocking and wonderful three-pointers.
But Gilgeous-Alexander has taken the lead now and has done so with some serious enthusiasm, drive, and power.
It’s not just the clutch plays that Gilgeous-Alexander is doing so well.
He is averaging 31.3 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 6 assists a game on 50.6% from the field.
Putting up 30 points a night has just become the norm for him and he is now easily the most valuable player for the young Thunder.
