We are not too far from seeing pitchers and catchers report to spring training.
The 2023 MLB season is around the corner, and fan bases have endured too much time without baseball already.
New York Yankees supporters flood Twitter with messages saying they miss baseball and watching their team.
Patience will be rewarded eventually, with spring training, the World Baseball Classic, the 2023 MLB season, some international series, a new schedule, and the quest for the postseason, not to mention the trade deadline.
The Yankees reminded their fans that the fun is getting closer.

Nothing better than a picture of your star player to get everybody’s hype level up.
During a time in which the NFL playoffs and the NBA regular season are in full swing, it’s a nice reminder that baseball will be back on our screens soon.
The Yankees, in particular, have an exciting season ahead of them.
They signed some star-level free agents such as Carlos Rodon and Tommy Kahnle, not to mention that they retained Aaron Judge and Anthony Rizzo, perhaps the two best hitters on the roster.
The team is looking to make the World Series for the first time since 2009, but it won’t be an easy quest.
The Houston Astros remain the cream of the crop in the American League, and the Seattle Mariners, the Toronto Blue Jays, the Baltimore Orioles, the Cleveland Guardians, the Chicago White Sox, and the Los Angeles Angels are all improved.
The Texas Rangers and the Tampa Bay Rays could be contenders, too.
The American League is more contested than ever, but the Yankees feel they have a chance.
Their fans have a similar feeling.
Will this be the year for them?
