The XFL has become your go-to spot for football in the spring.
Most fans that are missing the NFL still crave the opportunity to watch football.
The XFL is an eight-team league that gives players a chance to show NFL scouts what they can do.
While the XFL is still a growing league, they are doing its best to promote the games on ESPN and other national networks.
After the opening weekend of games, there was interest from fans that did their best to fill the stadiums.
Some former NFL players in the XFL include A.J. McCarron, Josh Gordan, Martavis Bryant, and Vic Beasley.
All of these guys are looking for their chance to get back into the NFL.
One player that recently went from the XFL to NFL is Carolina Panthers quarterback P.J. Walker.
So playing well in the XFL has proven to give a player an NFL opportunity.
The XFL recently announced where their championship game would be played this year.
San Antonio will be the host of the inaugural championship game.

While San Antonio does not have an NFL team, the city showed out for its XFL team this weekend.
The fans get to watch football played differently in the XFL.
The rules are different from what we are used to seeing in the NFL every week.
For one there are no extra points in the league, also the players do not get running starts on kickoffs.
Even though this league may not be for everyone, it is still fun to watch.
It will be interesting to see how the year unfolds, and which teams make it to the championship in San Antonio.
