We may soon see a team that finally separates themselves from the rest of the pack in the American League Central.
Could it be the Cleveland Guardians?
Possibly.
What about the Minnesota Twins, or maybe even the Chicago White Sox?
We’ll focus on the White Sox today, who won 93 games last season en route to their first AL Central title since 2008.
This season, it’s been a bit of tough go, but they may finally be heating up at the right time.
They sit tied for second in the AL Central with the Twins, a game-and-a half back of the Guardians.
After five months, the White Sox offense has finally come alive, outscoring opponents 55-24 in the last nine games.
They’ve also won seven of their last nine.

South Siders Heating Up At Perfect Time
The White Sox were the clear favorite in the AL Central before the start of the 2022 season after a tremendous 2021 season.
Things hadn’t gone according to plan for quite some time, but there finally looks to be some improvement on the south side of Chicago.
This is still a very good team on paper that has a great chance to do some damage down the stretch.
Now, they finally look like the team they were last year.
Injuries have played a big role in their struggles, but with the season winding down, the White Sox have been trending upwards and it’s coming at just the right time.
People always say that there’s no time like the present for things to go right, and the White Sox have taken that to heart.
Now, they look like they can take the AL Central title out of the grasp of the Guardians and return to the postseason for the third straight year.
