Spring training is fast approaching and the dawn of a new MLB season is nearly upon us.
But there are other things baseball-related that we can look forward to, particularly when it comes to the World Baseball Classic.
That will begin in just 40 days.
March 8 will be the day that the Classic begins, when players will team up to support their respective countries and battle it out all month long to see which country truly has the best baseball talent.
On Twitter, the account for the WBC posted a cool graphic to illustrate just how close we are to an epic collision course of baseball goodness.

It’s almost here, folks.
We won’t have to wait much longer.
Soon, we’ll be able to make predictions for the Classic and debate who might take home the title in 2023.
In 2017, Team USA emerged victorious.
The Classic was originally set to return in 2021, but was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
But here we are, six years later.
Each country has rosters full of elite baseball talent.
Soon, players such as Paul Goldschmidt, Mike Trout, Nolan Arenado, and Trea Turner will take the field for Team USA.
Players such as Shohei Ohtani will get things going for Team Japan.
The Dominican National Team is also full of elite talent, with players such as Sandy Alcantara, Luis Castillo, Framber Valdez, Jeremy Pena, and Manny Machado.
It will be here before we know it.
Baseball is almost back, and that means another exciting season and an exciting WBC tournament.
